Organovir is recruiting for 15 PhD positions

Organovir is an Innovative Training Network (ITN) that focuses on the implications of organoid technology for viral pathogenesis studies and anti-viral testing. We are currently looking for talented and motivated PhD students. Do you want to be trained as an expert in innovative organoid technology? Are you open-minded, curious, ready to explore new ways, and do you like the challenge of working in a dynamic international network with 15 PhDs at academic, commercial and public health institutes, covering different aspects of innovative organoid technology? Then apply!  

As a PhD student with Organovir, you will be able to familiarize yourself not only with the scientific and technical aspects of innovative 3D culture systems for virus research, but also with the financial, commercial, ethical, communicative, policy and dissemination aspects enabling optimal valorisation of organoids. At the end of this project, you will hold a unique position within the European labour market.

Within Organovir research will be done in the areas of virology, organoid technology, science ethics, communications and business. Organovir is therefore looking for talented and motivated PhD students with a Master degree in various disciplines depending on the research project you want to apply for. You can find the requirements for each vacancy on our website.

The starting date of our research projects is the 1st of September 2019.

Are you…                               

  • in possession of a Master degree in the field of virology, biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, tissue engineering, life sciences/medicine, social sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, law, communications, economics, science ethics or business, OR will you obtain a Master degree by September 2019?
  • an excellent student who has obtained high grades during your studies?
  • willing to undertake trans-national mobility to perform research abroad?
  • proficient in the English language and an excellent communicator?
  • interested in organoid technology and virology?
  • fulfilling all the requirements and eligibility criteria?
