In the framework of the “PLASMON-ELECTROLIGHT” ERANET RUS.PLUS project, the Chemistry and Bioscience Engineering department (Faculty of Science) are seeking to fill a full-time (100%) vacancy for a
PhD position in Science
The objective of the PLASMON-ELECTROLIGHT project is to elaborate an efficient sensor strategy to detect pharmaceuticals. The detection technique will be developed from an original photoelectrochemical detection strategy that is boosted by advanced photosensitizers, plasmonic enhancement, and affinity recognition. Our partners are the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia) and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Romania). The research will be performed in the AXES (Antwerp X-ray Analysis, Electrochemistry and Speciation) and DuEL (Sustainable Energy and Air Purification) lab in close interaction with our international partners.
